THE BUILDING OF 'SLOW PACE'
A 60’ semi-trad, reverse layout, bespoke designed narrowboat with shell built by Reeves

This is a blog of the building and fit-out of the Narrowboat Slow Pace from base plate to launch.
The more recent postings are pictures taken during our cruising.

I saw a TV program here in the States about narrow boats (with which I was unfamiliar) and did a little poking around on the internet to learn more. Yours is a gorgeous boat and the photos of your adventures have made me decide to hire a narrow boat the next time I'm in the UK. Thanks!

I think my profile is unavailable - which seems a bit rude - but my blog pages can be seen at donhowe.blogspot.com and cmsubmissions.blogspot.com. I recommend visiting the latter first...
Hi Don, Great to hear Slow Pace has given you inspiration!
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Love your boat. I will be building one like it for traversing the Mississippi in USA. Thank you for the lovely pictures
